Thanks Diana. Sounds like the archive.org servers are over burdened. Has anyone considered adding torrent/tracker capabilities to the site? This could offset some of the bandwidth burden by the nature of the torrent protocol... I'd love to help in such an effort.

It was tried earlier, but sadly bittorrent apparently isn't a good fit for here. Among other things, almost any given item is not intensively popular enough to have a lot of outside bandwidth sharing on it longterm.

DN is trying this out. they r putting the shows up on BT for 3 days then they take them down. then its up to us to keep them alive on the other BT sites.

as far as i know it is only a trail to see how it does.
